Racing the Sun was released in August 2020, marking the debut project for Saint. Inspired by the thriving Australian psych-rock scene and other influential indie groups, notes of Tame Impala, POND, and Foster, The People are sprinkled everywhere. Carefully curated instrumentals lend to the overall sound of the EP, with it being more of a showcase of Saint's vocal and writing ability rather than production. Racing the Sun explores themes of loneliness, lost time, and an overall feeling of uncertainty towards what the future holds.
